How RAMworks.

A fixed-supply token, machines you create by destroying it, kits you build by fusing them, and a revenue engine whose every rule is enforced by the program. Here is all of it.

4,096 $RAM, ever

$RAM launches on a Meteora bonding curve with a fixed supply of 4,096 and its mint authority revoked, so no one can ever mint more. Every token is one cell of the memory map. Supply only goes down: hardwiring burns tokens into machines, and the buyback burns tokens bought from the market.

Right now … are hardwired, … bought back and burned, and … still liquid.

0x02

1,024 machines. No more.

The program hands out at most 1,024 machine ids, in wiring order, and never reissues one. Fusion burns machines, so the number alive only falls once the ids run out.

Terminal
1 $RAM
weight 100
Workstation
4 $RAM
weight 400
Server
16 $RAM
weight 1,600
Mainframe
64 $RAM
weight 6,400

Weight is 100 per $RAM burned: a Mainframe earns exactly 64 Terminals' worth. Single sticks can be upgraded by burning the difference.

Founders, Genesis, Relics

Machines #0000–0063 are Founders: +50% weight forever. Machines #0064–0255 are Genesis: +25% forever. The boost is locked to the stick at wiring, survives upgrades, sales and fusion, can never be changed, and is printed on the NFT.

Four addresses are Relics: #0256 (0x100), #0512 (0x200), #0768 (0x300) and #1023 (0x3FF). Each is a 1-of-1 with its own artwork from memory history (the Williams tube, core memory, the mercury delay line and the first DRAM chip) and +100% weight forever, fixed in the program.

Multi-channel kits

Fuse 2–4 machines into a kit. Each stick keeps its own floor, so one NFT pays out several AI stocks at once, and every channel gets the fusion bonus: Dual +10%, Triple +17.5%, Quad +25%, stacked on top of any Founder/Genesis boost.

The first machine becomes the kit; the others are burned and their accounts closed. Rewards earned before fusion travel with each stick. Kits can keep absorbing sticks up to four channels, but can't be upgraded or split.

SOL and AI stocks

Every stick accumulates a floor: SOL, or a tokenized AI stock: NVIDIA, AMD, TSMC, Broadcom or Microsoft, as xStocks on Solana (NVDAx, AMDx, TSMx, AVGOx, MSFTx). Every unit of weight earns the same SOL value; the floor only decides what you receive.

For stock floors, the keeper bot buys the stock on Jupiter and swaps it in atomically: it delivers the asset and receives that floor's earned SOL in one instruction, within a price guard. It can never take reward SOL without delivering.

Where the money comes from

A flat 2.5% fee on every $RAM buy and sell, on the bonding curve and, after graduation, on the permanently locked Meteora pool. Meteora keeps 20% of it. Of the rest, 75% goes to the team wallet and 25% to the RAM vault: of every trade, 1.5% to the team and 0.5% to the vault. Machine sales also pay a 5% royalty, all of it to the vault.

The vault is Meteora's fee claimer and owns its share of the locked liquidity, so no wallet sits between its fees and the split: anyone can harvest them, but the program only ever pays them into the vault, and anyone can then distribute them. The team's share of the liquidity is locked forever too. The vault splits what it receives:

Be clear-eyed: until Overclock has paying customers, machine rewards are paid by people trading $RAM and machine NFTs. When trading slows, rewards slow. Nothing here is a fixed yield or a promise.

Early is cheaper

A machine costs a fixed amount of $RAM, and $RAM is priced by its bonding curve: every buy moves it up until it graduates. So the SOL cost of a machine rises as $RAM does. The curve is public; sells move the price down too.

Machines that do work

Machines carry compute credits (250 per $RAM burned, plus top-ups). Their owners run real AI jobs from the machine's terminal; each job is signed by the owner's wallet and recorded on-chain with its credit cost. Bigger machines think harder.

What the program enforces

  • Reward SOL has no withdrawal path: it leaves only through holder claims or atomic conversions.
  • Buyback SOL leaves only by burning $RAM in the same instruction, under a price guard.
  • The machine share of revenue can never drop below 50%.
  • Machines wired after a distribution don't earn from it; claim rights follow the NFT.
  • Every lamport sits in a named bucket; the test suite checks solvency after every random action.

These rules are the program's code, and the program is upgradeable: the team's admin key is also its upgrade authority, so they hold as long as that key doesn't ship new code. Every upgrade is public on-chain.

Read this

  • Burning and fusing are irreversible. Machines can lose value; $RAM can go to zero.
  • Rewards depend entirely on future trading and usage. Past distributions say nothing about future ones.
  • The program is unaudited and upgradeable by a single team key. The keeper and compute operator are trusted roles, bounded by on-chain guards.
